Industrial
Webbing

Textile webbing in all types of synthetic fibres, from 5 mm to 300 mm wide, rigid, semi-rigid and semi-elastic.

Materials for general use

Polyester (PES)

Fibre widely used in applications where high mechanical performance is not required. Very good chemical resistance to acids or alkalis. Very low specific weight (0.91 g/cm3 – buoyancy). Melting point around 160 C. Low thermal conductivity. Dyeing and use of additives “in bulk”, providing good solidity. Sensitive to UV exposure, although it can be treated very effectively. Extremely low water or moisture absorption and very good resistance to microorganisms. Easy recyclability.

Polypropylene (PP)

Fibre widely used in applications where high mechanical performance is not required. Very good chemical resistance to acids or alkalis. Very low specific weight (0.91 g/cm3 – buoyancy). Melting point around 160 C. Low thermal conductivity. Dyeing and use of additives “in bulk”, providing good solidity. Sensitive to UV exposure, although it can be treated very effectively. Extremely low water or moisture absorption and very good resistance to microorganisms. Easy recyclability.

Polyamide / Nylon (PA)

Fibre that offers very good mechanical strength and elasticity performance along with high abrasion resistance. Suitable for articles subject to high mechanical demands such as in military sectors, climbing, etc. High elongation. Low specific weight (1.14 g/cm3). High water absorption, which can reduce mechanical strength. High melting point (215 C PA6 – 250 C PA6.6). Good resistance to microorganisms Prolonged exposure to UV can produce both a colour and mechanical effect.

Technical Materials

POLYETHYLENE (PE)

Normally used as a monofilament, it has a great chemical resistance, minimum permeability to humid environments, excellent electrical properties, it is very light and has a low melting point of 120-130 C.

META-ARAMID – Nomex®

Fibre with extremely high temperature resistance (decomposes above 400 C), which does not ignite or melt, with moderate mechanical strength, suitable for use in special applications in flammable or high temperature environments. Very sensitive to UV, usually coated with other materials.

PARA-ARAMID –
Kevlar® – Twaron®

Fibre of very high mechanical strength with a melting point of over 400 C and very low elongation, making it suitable for use in flammable or high temperature environments requiring mechanical strength, such as harnesses for special applications (welders). Very sensitive to UV, usually coated with other materials.

ULTRA-HIGH MOLECULAR
WEIGHT POLYETHYLENE
(UHMWPE) – Dyneema®

Fibre with very high mechanical performance, between 4 and 5 times stronger than PES and PA and with a very low elongation at less than 3%, making it the technical material for use in applications with high strength and/or abrasion resistance demands. Low specific weight (0.97 g/cm3 – buoyancy). Very light material. Nil water absorption and resistant to microorganisms – ideal for underwater use. Good UV resistance. Very limited dye affinity. Low melting temperature.

GLASS FIBRE

With an extremely high decomposition point (>1200 °C), this material is frequently used to create “composites” by means of mechanical treatments. Highly technical applications in the aeronautical field or in construction.

CARBON FIBRE

Very thermally stable material, with conductive properties applicable to many sectors, including automotive and aeronautics, but also in the Internet of Things (IoT).

WIRE YARNS

Conductive, thermal and electrical properties can be obtained by introducing metal threads of differing natures for very technical applications in very diverse sectors.

Product features

CONDUCTIVITY

Conductive webbing is applicable in numerous sectors for applications related to data transport, electricity or thermal transmission.

ANTISTATIC

Electrostatic charges need to be dissipated in some applications or usage surroundings, such as to avoid sources of ignition sources in flammable environments.

FIRE RETARDANT

This property enables use of our webbing in applications where there is a risk of direct exposure to fire. We also have different levels of flame retardants available as needed.

WATER REPELLENT

In those applications where it is important to prevent the webbing absorbing water or where the presence of microorganisms is to be avoided.

IR REFRACTION CONTROL

We have different technologies to offer a wide range of camouflage tapes for the military sector with IR refractive readings adapted to each army’s requirements.

HEAT-SHRINKABLE

Tubular webbing with high shrinkage control capacity through application of temperature, for technical applications mainly in the aeronautical and automotive sectors.

REFLECTIVE

For Safety and Personal Protection applications.

ELECTROLUMINISCENCE

Electrically conductive webbing which use of cutting-edge technologies to make them capable of emitting light for signalling, personal protection and other applications.

VERY HIGH STRENGTH

Webbing capable of withstanding very high mechanical loads and/or abrasion for extreme lifting or lashing applications.

SENSORISATION

Application of sensors to capture and transmit information through webbing for use in smart applications, Internet of Things (IOT), safety, sports, etc.

ANTI-ABRASION

Variety of materials and coatings to provide high abrasion resistance.

PRINTING

Various options for printing on webbing:

Silk screen printing: Single-colour printing of logos or text on the webbing.
Sublimation: Printing of logos, messages or designs with no colour or shape restrictions.
Jacquard: Printing of logos or patterns by combining coloured threads during weaving of the webbing.

ANTIVIRAL AND BACTERIOSTATIC

Webbing with antiviral and bacteriostatic properties resulting from the nature of the yarn used or from special coatings.

SOFTNESS

Webbing that is soft to the touch by combining special materials and coatings.

EXTREME STIFFNESS

Treatments to give webbing with maximum rigidity.
