For 114 years Industrias Murtra have been weaving tape and it has progressed from producing tapes made from natural fibres for farming use to the current production of all kinds of synthetic fibres.

We currently keep 127 looms in stock to manufacture rigid textile tapes for industrial use in sizes that range from 3mm wide up to 300mm. We use the most common fibres such as polypropylene, polyester or polyamide and also more technical fibres including Kevlar, Nomex, Dyneema, carbon fibre and even fibreglass.

Our products are used by all kinds of industrial sectors, from bag manufacture, sports equipment, nets, nautical, work safety products, baby seats, military use, queuing barriers and the aeronautical industry. The types of applications vary so in addition to keeping a wide range of products in stock we also have a technical department to design customised tapes based on the client’s technical specification or use.
